A time of boy bands, bulky cell phones that doubled as briefcases, and the agonizing screech of a 56K modem connecting to the wild west of the early internet. Yet, amidst the dial-up dreams and frosted tips, a revolutionary concept car emerged from Ford, a phantom from a future that never quite arrived: the Ford Indigo. This wasn't your average, chrome-laden show car designed to turn heads. The Indigo was a rebel, a two-seater, open-wheeled marvel that looked like it had escaped from a pixelated racing game and spawned on the convention center floor. But beneath the head-turning, low-slung profile and that now-legendary front wing, resided the heart of a champion.
