Brian's Panhard PL17 L1 Tigre engine - day two - pick up issues
Dropping back on this after a few days away, and I am beginning to suspect all is not right with the Harley Davidson coil, and the logical thing to do is do a back to back swap with known working system. Here's the issue in this video clip which has been getting worse, and I have adjusted the vacuum capsule to restrict the movement from the stronger vacuum that the Weber DCNFs provide, which BTW retards the ignition and doesn't advance it. These engines need a lot of advance at idle compared to others of their day, so that's nearer 30º BTDC vs 10º normally
