Lucid Responded To My Video "Owning A Lucid Has Been Disappointing" The Lucid Video They Responded To - https://youtu.be/1WiQAOmESH0 Subscribe to Engineering Explained for more videos! - https://goo.gl/VZstk7 Recommended Books & Car Products - http://amzn.to/2BrekJm I leased a 2025 Lucid Air Touring, and within the first three months of ownership, I experienced quite a few issues. Some hardware issues, some software bugs, and some software design issues I wasn't a fan of. I outlined these issues in a video, expressing my disappointment with the car, which I was quite excited about (see links below). Lucid reached out, and put me on a call with Emad Dlala, which I greatly appreciate, as they certainly didn't have to. They walked me through why I experienced some of the issues I've experienced, and told me about what issues they were actively working on corrected, in addition to the issues they have already fixed. Lucid also mentioned upgrades that will be coming later this year in 2026, regarding UX 3.0, a complete overhaul of their user interface, as well as Vehicle-To-Home charging, which will enable using the Lucid as a backup power source in case your home loses electricity. I look forward to experiencing UX 3.0, and hope I am able to install their V2H kit to use my Lucid Air as a whole-home battery backup. The French inventor Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot built the first steam-powered road vehicle in 1769, while the Swiss inventor François Isaac de Rivaz designed and constructed the first internal combustion-powered automobile in 1808.
