The Henry Ford Museum & Motown Museum | 2026 McCarthy Road Trip Day 1
During our Detroit trip, we stopped by the legendary Motown Museum. While the museum itself was closed as it undergoes an exciting expansion, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit such an iconic location and capture a few photos outside. We also spent several hours exploring The Henry Ford Museum, where history, innovation, and nostalgia all come together. From beautifully restored classic automobiles to exhibits featuring the first Macintosh computer, Atari game systems, Speak & Spell, 8-tracks, the original Air Jordans, and countless other pieces of American history, there was something around every corner that brought back memories. This photo montage highlights some of our favorite moments from the day. Thanks for watching!

As the founder of the Ford Motor Company, he is credited as a pioneer in making automobiles affordable for middle-class Americans through the system that came to be known as Fordism. In 1911, he was awarded a patent for the transmission mechanism that would be used in the Ford Model T and other automobiles.
