Excited To Bring You The First Mid-Engine To This Channel! Hello everyone and welcome back to Brink of Speed! Today I'm super excited to be bringing you the first Mid-Engine car to this channel, a Porsche Cayman S! This Cayman S was one of three mid-engine cars that Porsche sold back in 2006 and it was in the middle. The first being the Porsche Boxter, second the Cayman and third the Carrera GT! This was my first time driving a Cayman and you will see that I love it immensely! This is a drivers car for sure, but even if you aren't into tracking or racing your car, this would be a nice car to daily drive. Let's talk numbers. This Cayman S comes with 295hp & 251 torque. It only weighs 2975 pounds and this one has a six-speed manual transmission. It does 0-60 in 5.1 seconds & the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds! It truly is a pleasure to drive on the highway or side roads. This car feels very torquey and really has great power and balance! It makes you feel like you could take a turn at any speed and it would hold! I honestly didn't find anything about this car that I didn't like, which is unusual for me. I can always find something about a car that I don't fancy, but I haven't found that yet in this car. We will see what happens the more I drive it. I would say I was thinking, where have you been my whole life while driving this around today!
