Is car-tunning and car care a form of love affair between human and automobile? In the performance “heck - a car(e) less work”, an artist approaches a metallic and already deconstructed object. Due to its former connection to the automobile, the object brings with it various associations, desires and also some problems. The performer negotiates the emotional relationship to the metal body and poses the question of how cars can be talked about from a feminist perspective in the 21st century. de Ist car-tunning und Autopflege eine Form von Liebesbeziehung zwischen Mensch und Automobil? In der Performance „heck - a car(e) less work“ nähert sich eine Artistin einem metallenen und bereits dekonstruierten Objekt an. Das Objekt zieht aufgrund seiner früheren Verbindung zum Automobil diverse Assoziationen, Begierden als auch so manche Problematiken mit sich. Die Performerin verhandelt die emotionale Beziehung zum metallenen Körper und stellt sich die Frage, wie im 21. Jahrhundert aus einer feministischen Sicht über Autos gesprochen werden kann?
