In 1941, Chevrolet introduced the Chevrolet AK Series, which was a light-duty truck. The style of the brand wasn't only improved, but the engine was built stronger, and improved version of the former one. The AK Series had a different appearance from previous Chevrolet products, which had a common appearance between its pickup trucks and passenger cars. It made use of the GM A platform, the same as the Chevrolet Deluxe. It was a successful commodity in the market at that time as pickup trucks were a necessity as well as a tool for all kinds of businesses. It can be compared to a working horse as the combination of the half car truck concept provided the usability of a car with a truck's payload. for further details visit: https://classicsdude.com/chevrolet-ak-series-1941-1947/ 0:00 Chevrolet AK Series Intro 0:12 Chevrolet AK Series Origin 1:45 Chevrolet AK Series Engine 2:00 Chevrolet AK Series Production 2:42 Chevrolet AK Series Price Range Check out the Chevrolet Advanced Design (1947-1955): https://youtu.be/qRActtqm9fE _______________ Videos used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ejj1pyDXlME&ab_channel=BillHummel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8fSuJDwGlI&ab_channel=BillHummel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYn1E8klGpM&ab_channel=AdamHooten https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Fk3TqqmJzg&ab_channel=RestorFXLethbridge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81H1hqK39p8&ab_channel=Paulweisco https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLXtm-Q2C0M&ab_channel=garrettclassics
