Mat’s in the Subaru Impreza P1, and he’s going head-to-head with another world-famous rally car, the Mitsubishi Evo VI! They’re two very different cars, but their stats are oh-so similar. Starting with the Subaru, it’s powered by a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that can put down 280hp & 353Nm of torque. It’s equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, four-wheel-drive, and it tips the scales at 1,283kg. As for the Evo, well it’s also packing a 2-litre turbo petrol engine, and while it puts down an identical 280hp, it can produce slightly more torque, at 373Nm. Just like the Subaru, it also includes a 5-speed manual and four-wheel-drive, but it’s slightly heavier, at 1,360kg. So, it’s a battle of the gear changes, but who will be better, Mat or Yianni?
