Honda is preparing to shift gears into an “electrified era”

Honda has joined the plants in Marysville, Anna, and Jeffersonville, Ohio with its retooled East Liberty Auto Plant to form the company’s EV HUB, which accounts for a total overall projected investment of $4.4 billion. According to Honda, more than $1 billion of those funds have been used to reconfigure and update its existing Ohio production facilities. Starting in 2026, Honda plans to use the hub to begin global production of its Honda EV models based on the Honda 0 SUV and Honda 0 Saloon prototypes debuted at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.
