The AITO (Adding Intelligence to Auto) brand, created by Huawei and Seres group, has lifted the veil of mystery over the flagship M9 crossover. In China, the crossover will be offered with a hybrid or electric power unit, and thanks to advanced solutions in the field of safety and entertainment, it will attract the attention of demanding customers. At the same time, in the power structure of the M9 model, a place has been found for complex steels similar to those used in nuclear submarines. Impact-resistant beams are double-layered, and the body is almost impossible to deform: eight horizontal and five vertical stiffness tongues have been added. Unusual flashlights called xPIXEL included in the supply of the crossover are Huawei's own product. They can dynamically change the shape of the light coma, cast shadows on objects at a distance of up to 100 meters, illuminate traffic lanes, curves, roadsides, and even play the role of a projector for an outdoor street cinema. The Aito M9's exterior design boldly proclaims its kinship with Huawei's technology-driven vision. Borrowing the "sharp technology" language debuted on the Huawei Luxeed S7 sedan, the M9 cuts a striking figure with triangular headlights bisected by a piercing LED strip. Soft-fitting, retractable door handles further emphasize the car's aerodynamic ambitions, while a gently sloping roofline hints at spaciousness inside. Emerging from China's burgeoning EV landscape, the Huawei Aito M9 is a full-size luxury SUV that boldly proclaims its technology-driven aspirations. Unveiled at Huawei's winter conference in China, the exterior of the M9 speaks volumes about its tech-centric DNA. Triangular headlamps, overlapping door handles and a gently sloping roofline hint at both aerodynamic prowess and spaciousness inside. With sharp lines and futuristic elements, the design language of "Kunpeng Zhanyi" creates a lasting impression. For those looking for the perfect EV experience, the pure electric version offers a pair of huge electric motors with a combined power of 390 kW. Juiced up by a large 97kWh CATL battery pack, this setup covers 391 miles (630 kilometers) in China's CLTC test cycle. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, this M9 is clearly not afraid to put asphalt behind it.Step inside and be greeted by a symphony of screens. A 15.6-inch main infotainment screen flanked by a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and dedicated passenger display provides easy access to information. But the visual feast doesn't end there. A 75-inch AR-HUD paints important information on the windshield, while optional rear passenger screens transform the cabin into a mobile entertainment space. The M9 has a chassis with height-adjustable air springs and electronically controlled shock absorbers. The crossover is also equipped with a lidar with 192 laser arrays, which takes data into account when adjusting the suspension, 10 interior displays (including a 32-inch projection screen), ambient lighting that offers 16.8 million color options, and a high-end 25-speaker Huawei Sound sound system. Crossover electronics can change the sound field in real time: for example, it can isolate the second row driver from the phone conversation. The M9 voice assistant recognizes up to six "voice tracks", increases its knowledge and works with the support of the Huawei Pangu large language model. The interior of the crossover is designed for six people. The front seats fold down, so if necessary, the M9 model can be turned into a wheelhouse. In the back there are Zero Gravity 2.0 seats with adaptive armrests. There are 41 compartments for small items, including shelves for bottles, as well as depths for tablets and ultrabooks. The AITO company did not forget about privacy, so it equipped the crossover with "Airplane mode". When this mode is activated, any data transmission abroad is blocked, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and the anti-hijacking system are disabled. Blurring the lines between car and smartphone, the Aito M9's headlights can display images and videos like Huawei's own hand-crafted dual projector. It's not just a crazy trick; The headlights can also intelligently direct their beams to avoid blinding oncoming drivers with an accuracy of up to 1.2 meters, according to Aito. Recognize not only cars, but also pedestrians. The interior of the Aito M9 is more than just a car interior. It is a technology-rich oasis carefully crafted to offer both luxurious comfort and a symphony of digital functions. From large displays to thoughtful storage solutions, every element in this space is designed to elevate the driving experience and redefine the concept of automotive interiors.
