*SOLD* I really like the CLK Coupe - more than I did when it was new, really. It's a car that is aging well, has excellent dimensions, nice power, and is very pretty to look at. This C209 model, to me, is the first true Mercedes-Benz musclecar, in the sense of being a 2-door, V8 powered, long hood and short tailed body. A German Camaro or Chevelle? I think so. Yes, Mercedes-Benz has always had some special and powerful cars, but virtually all were sedans. This is the first V8 coupe from Mercedes-Benz that gives me the same feeling I get when driving an older V8 American coupe - a nice sound from the exhause, a long hood in front of you, and expanses of side windows to roll down. The Mercedes-Benz CLK LM was a Group GT1 sports car designed and built by Mercedes-Benz in partnership with AMG to compete in the FIA GT Championship. To satisfy the requirements of competing in the FIA GT Championship, a road-legal version had to be built to homologate the car.
