THE SPORTIEST MICROCAR: YOU AIN’T HEARD NOTHING YET! MICRO REPORT
In Europe, Cars with very small engines qualify similar to mopeds in the US. A full drivers license is not required and teenagers are allowed to drive these cars on public streets. These cars can go no faster than 45 Kilometers/Hour. They are equipped like larger car with bluetooth, airbags and other amenities. This car, the Ligier "Microcar" is produced by the Ligier Automobile Company which was founded by the former rugby player and race car driver Guy Ligier. The French company has been involved in building Formula One cars for many years. Carthropology encountered this car at a McDonalds drive thru in Tegernsee, Germany.
