Vintage Germany cars from the 1930s. History of Mercedes 170 of the 30s. Classic German cars of the 30s - Mercedes-Benz W136 170 1936. Big old cars show. In 1936 Mercedes-Benz 170 was shown at the big technical festival OldCarLand. The car has a wooden frame. The roof is fixed with ordinary nails. Front passenger doors open outside the box - against the movement, and the rear - for the movement. Above a wide grille – there was emblem of Mercedes-Benz. Round headlights protrude from the wings of the car. Two "wipers" are attached on top of the windshield. On the back - the spare tire. Access to the trunk - from the cabin. Rear wheel drive car. Under the hood of this Mercedes-Benz is a 1.7-liter engine producing 38 horsepower. In 1943, when the Anglo-American bombardment destroyed the factories of Mercedes-Benz, the release of the model ceased. But the only relatively surviving conveyor was just for the 170th. In 1946 was resumed production of the model 170V as s pick-up, flatbed, police car and ambulance versions. Until the 1990s, there were few surviving cars. The wooden frame for 10-20 years spoiled and rotted. Mercedes-Benz 170 V, the internal index W136, were produced from the beginning of 1936 to 1955. In the period from 1936 to 1939 cars of this series were the best-selling of all pre-war Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Subscribe to the channel, comment on the video and click on the bell.
