SnowRunner - Chevrolet Kodiak C70 Ultimate Review
The Chevrolet Kodiak C70 was an 80s medium-duty hauling truck that had a variety of uses - commercial logistics, school buses, fire engines, cranes, military transport, farming, etc. In SnowRunner, it is found for free early in the game, in the Black River map of Michigan. They put it in the Heavy-duty category of trucks even though it is in actuality a medium-duty truck. However, it being only a 4x4 and having access to less powerful engines than other heavy-duty vehicles makes this truck’s applications limited, often best used in Michigan as a log crane truck. The Kodiak C70 also suffers from being tipsy and offering terrible steering control due to terrain feedback, much like the Chevrolet CK 1500 (this being its big brother). However, with the heavy crane, this truck becomes quite stable and can be used to load the hauling trucks with cargo and even haul a trailer itself. Don’t get too crazy and burden it with a semi-trailer because it just doesn’t have the power, and you won’t be able to control it very well with such a trailer attached.
