The Hummer EV, initially charged to 100%, displayed only 285 miles of range due to the cold. During his 90-mile drive to Cheyenne, Wyoming, he experienced a range drop, leaving just 98 miles remaining. The Hummer EV showed an efficiency of 1.3 miles per kWh in these conditions. He spent around $30 to $40 on public charging. Despite the challenges, Tim reached his destination on time. This test highlights the importance of planning for EV winter road trips, considering charging locations and potential range reductions.
