Subaru v Mitsubishi v Toyota: TUNER DRAG RACE

We’ve got our hands on a Mitsubishi Evo 9, a Toyota GR Corolla, and a Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and the three of them are about to go head-to-head over the quarter mile! All three cars have been tuned to produce similar horsepower, but which car will come out on top? Let’s take a closer look at the stats… Starting with the Evo, it’s powered by a 2-litre 4-cylinder that no produces 406hp and 488Nm. Under the GR Corolla’s bonnet there’s a 1.6-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine, and this produces 420hp and 445Nm. Finally, the Impreza is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder boxer engine, and this puts down 413hp and 578Nm. All three cars are equipped with a 6-speed manual gearbox, and each of them weigh in at around 1.5 tonnes. They’re so evenly matched, but can you guess which will come out on top over the quarter-mile? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
