Kenworth W990 Review - Dark Horse

Kenworth W990 is one of the most talked-about standalone DLC trucks in SnowRunner, and it didn’t exactly launch in a good place. It came out as a RWD-only truck with tires that felt mediocre, and the community pushback was loud — most people wanted one thing: AWD. But since then, the story has changed. The devs updated the mud friction on its unique Kenworth tires to 3.4, and that single change transformed the W990 into something genuinely interesting. It’s still RWD, but it can perform better than some AWD trucks in the right terrain, and I actually love that the truck stayed RWD because it makes it feel unique in a game full of “same build, different skin” trucks. So bias aside, it’s time to see how the W990 compares to the rest.
