Porsche RS Spyder EVO 2007 (9R6701) LMP2 Factory Test Car - 503bhp V8 N/A Engine Sound @ FOS 2022

This beautiful Porsche RS Spyder EVO 2007 LMP2 was brought directly from the Stuttgart museum to exhibit at the 2022 edition of the Goodwood Festival of Speed ​​(FOS). The model is the evolution of the victorious LMP2 class Barchetta that dominated the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) with the American team Penske-Motorsports. Among the successes of this successful racing model are also the class victories at Le Mans and Sebring. Specifically, this should be the official car used for the tests, chassis 9R6701. In the nine models built-in 2007, the chassis and aerodynamics have been further improved as the engine cooling system. The engine is a lovely 3.4-litre naturally aspirated V8, which, despite the restrictive airflow required by the race regulations, is capable of developing 503 bhp at 10,300 rpm: all to move a very light car, only 775 kgs. The engine is powered by a 6-speed sequential gearbox with steering wheel controls, while the clutch has three carbon fibre discs. Nei 9 modelli costruiti nell'anno 2007 il telaio e l'aerodinamica sono stati ulteriormente migliorati così come il sistema di raffreddamento del motore. Il propulsore è uno splendido V8 aspirato da 3.4-Litri che nonostante i restrittori della portata d'aria previsto dalle normative di gara è capace di sviluppare 503 bhp a 10.300 rpm. Il tutto per muovere un'auto molto leggera, solo 775 kgs. Il motore è mosso da un cambio sequenziale a 6 rapporti con comandi al volante mentre la frizione è a tre dischi in fibra di carbonio.
