2013 SL550 Race Chip Install & Full fuel mileage Review

I got the race chip RS for my 2013 SL550 Mercedes. I knew the race ship would be worth it because they offered a 30-day refund with no restocking fee so I knew it had to be great. Unfortunately the race chip does what it's supposed to do in manual mode and I do not use the paddle shifters on my car so for me the race chip is not worth it. Also the race chip caused the car to get worse fuel mileage. Before I got 30.7 highway miles a gallon physically by doing the division with the fuel not the computer. After the race chip I got 23 miles a gallon not with the computer said what the actual car did mileage divided by gallons. The race chip did improve the paddle shifting and the down shifts were smoother and more crisp. The notch setting number five work the best and I would say the car made an additional 30 to 45 wheel horsepower in manual mode only not in regular mode or sport mode. It also made more torque I would guess 50 more wheel torque and manual mode. For me I will be returning the race chip because it's not applicable for my situation and I will not be putting the car in manual shift mode every time I drive the car.
