In 1997 Tom Kristensen was an F1 hopeful racing in F3000, when he got a call from Joest to come and race at the Le Mans 24 Hours. Despite his rookie status Kristensen settled in straight away and the trio stormed to victory – for TK it would be his first of nine wins at the famous race, beginning his journey from racing driver to Mr Le Mans. At the first ever Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard Tom was reunited with the car that began his journey to Le Mans legend. #gwspeedweek #Porsche #LeMans24 #WSC95 #gw_Porsche Official Website 👉 http://www.goodwood.com/grr/ Facebook 👉 http://www.facebook.com/goodwoodrrc Instagram 👉 http://www.instagram.com/goodwoodrrc/ Twitter 👉 http://www.twitter.com/goodwoodrrc SUBSCRIBE for more racing cars, supercars, new car reviews, historic motorsport and Goodwood event coverage 👉 http://bit.ly/GoodwoodTV Buy your Goodwood Event tickets 👉 http://bit.ly/GWBuyTickets
