Collectors Obsess Over the GTO, But the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Is My Winner The 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4: A Legendary Icon in 60 Seconds Introduction: Meet the 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, one of the most iconic grand tourers Ferrari ever built. Known for its perfect balance of performance, beauty, and innovation, this car redefined what a GT could be. Design: Styled by Pininfarina, the 275 GTB/4 features timeless curves, a long hood, and aggressive stance—embodying the golden era of automotive design. Engine: Under the hood lies a 3.3-liter V12, producing 300 horsepower, paired with a first-ever four-camshaft design for Ferrari's road cars, hence the "4" in its name. Performance: The car could hit 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 165 mph—blistering for the 1960s. It featured a rear-mounted transaxle, improving weight distribution and handling. Legacy: Produced in limited numbers, only 330 units of the 275 GTB/4 were made, making it incredibly rare. Its racing pedigree includes versions like the 275 GTB/C, which dominated circuits like Le Mans. Pop Culture: Steve McQueen owned one, cementing its status as a Hollywood and collector favorite. Value Today: In auctions, the 275 GTB/4 fetches upwards of $3-5 million, a testament to its desirability and enduring legacy.
