1980 Chevrolet Citation My parents bought a 1980 Chevy Citation X-11 coupe in silver & black. Brand new off the truck. It had the V6 automatic and boy, was it a pretty car. I was 13 at the time....fast forward to several years later and it had gone through my mom & dad, and all my siblings driving it (all lead footed). Then it was my turn. I took it through the woods, up the hills, over rocks and through shallow creeks.....The transmission went out. It sat in the yard with my dad fuming for several years until I was married. I got it and fixed the transmission and drove it for 2 years. Sold that sucker for $700 it was still going.
