VW Passat around Wakefield Park Racetrack
2001 VW Passat ( Mk 5 / B5.5 , 2.8L , 5 sp Auto, FWD ) around Wakefield Park Raceway. Car had about 80,000kms on the clock and in perfect condition. Stable handling which defaults to gentle understeer. Does not seem to slide unless given an aggressive flick. Strong brakes. Slow acceleration out of corners due to tall gearing with revs dropping to 3000-4000rpm and the autobox not allowing 1st gear selection.
