Movement/Architecture: Nová Zbrojovka
Site-specific dance performance in the former Zbrojovka factory in Brno, Czech Republic. The Zbrojovka factory manufactured weapons, tractors and typewriters and the factory site is currently undergoing major redevelopment. Movement/Architecture is Beautiful Confusion’s unique approach to site-specific performance, co-created by Becka McFadden, Mary Ann Hushlak and Sylvie Robaldo. All aspects of the performance are created in response to the architecture of the given location, including the sound, which is developed from field recordings made onsite.
