Legendary 1967 Porsche 910 race car Carrera 10 906/10 F1 Supercar

Elliot It's a 1967 Porsche 910 Race Car; coolest vintage supercar...looks like a Porsche and a first generation Dino Ferrari combined. This car is featured in the commercial for a 2010 all-new Tudor Heritage Chronograph also historically known as The Tudor Monte Carlo as well as The Tudor Home Plate, originally introduced in 1970. Tudor has been collaborating with Porsche Motorsport as its timing partner. The Porsche 910 is truely a work of art and the one in the video has got to be worth close to $1Million. The ultra-rare Porsche 910, also known as the Carrera 10, was a race car from Porsche, based upon the Porsche 906. 15 were produced in 1966 and 1967. The factory name for the 910 was the 906/10. The 910 was considered the next sequence in the 906 line. The main difference to the original 906 is the use of 13 inch wheels and tires, per Formula 1 spec; a single central nut instead of the 5 nuts as in a road car. This made the car not suitable for street use, but it saved time in pitstops. Overall, the 910 was lighter and shorter than the 906. Engines used in the Porsche 910 were either the reliable 2000 cc 6-cylinder with 200 hp (150 kW) or the 2200 cc 8-cylinder with up to 270 hp (201 kW). The main class rival of the Porsche 910 was the Ferrari Dino 206P, which were mostly beaten. Overall victories on fast tracks went to the more powerful Ford GT40 and Ferrari Prototypes. The Porsche 910 dutifully delivered 1-2-3 wins through multiple hairpin curves on treacherous mountain roads of the Targa Florio in 1967.
