I would not have anybody recharging the air conditioning on your Prius prime who guesses by using small cans and tries the top off using pressures or temperatures. Shops often make mistakes recharging refrigerant in cars and even more so in cars with electric compressors the shops themselves are usually the cause of the compressor is being burnt up. If a shop or a do it yourself person burns up this compressor and contaminate the entire system with metal debris and burnt oil I can tell you right now the bill to replace clean out flush and recharge the system will probably easily exceed $5000 without even blinking an eye. There’s nothing wrong with the Prius prime compressor there’s everything wrong with the people who work on it and service it. Or the owners lack of maintenance and keeping up by not allowing the refrigerant level to run low that causes the compressors to burn out.
