Saab 900 Engine Tear-down
Lesson learned: When your head gasket blows, never just let the engine sit. You'll see why as we lift off the cylinder head and discover damage to the cylinder wall. What should have been a simple head gasket repair became a complete engine tear-down. Real mechanics will probably cringe as I fumble my way through removing the pistons and crankshaft so the block can go to a machine shop to be saved.
