This endeavor promises to yield structures that are sturdier and more rigid than ever before. Such a collaboration partner is nothing short of ideal, facilitating the development of the ultimate heavy-duty off-road bus. Employing akin methodologies and procedures employed in the production of their own line of buses, MAN Truck & Bus integrates protective gases during the precision welding phase of the PRAETORIAN's skeletal structure. Subsequently, it undergoes a meticulous process, encompassing cataphoretic painting to ward off corrosion, followed by varnishing and a final coat of paint. These meticulous steps collectively guarantee that each product exiting the factory is of the utmost quality before it proceeds to TORSUS' bespoke assembly facility in Horné Srnie, Slovakia. Designed with the capacity to safely transport up to 35 passengers and their equipment across the world's most unforgiving terrains, the PRAETORIAN stands as a formidable 10-tonne 4x4 off-road bus, constructed on a refined, heavy-duty MAN TGM chassis. It derives its power from a robust 6.9L six-cylinder MAN diesel engine, boasting an impressive 286bhp and an astounding 1,150Nm of torque. Augmented by a heavy-duty 4x4 off-road transmission, this bus conquers steep inclines with ease, scaling gradients of up to 65 percent. The PRAETORIAN's engineering prowess equips it to navigate any terrain and brave any weather conditions, making it a truly global contender. The MAN Truck & Bus Starachowice plant is a prolific production hub, churning out over 1,600 buses and 520 bus chassis annually.
