Model Factory Hiro 1/12 Ferrari 250LM part 3 - Engine build
Some of the steps in the building of the engine (as much as can be done before fitting in the rear frame). All painting done with Tamiya Lacquer paints over Zero etch primer. Some parts unpainted and polished. First model I've built with 'working' internal parts - the crank, pistons. camshafts and rockers all revolving and working together! A bit of headache to do - but worth it (I think). I actually removed the crank and piston assembly before the sump was finally fitted - my aim is to display it separately with the finished model. The cams and rockers etc all stayed put and are sealed away for ever :-( Thanks for looking.
