Toyota Prius (XW50, 2015) wipers, inside view

The Prius has appeared as the 1st of Toyota's new platform strategy, called "TNGA" -Toyota New Global Architecture- which has attracted attention from all over the world. Assuming the miniaturized "THS" -Toyota Hybrid System-, the wiper layout has also been lowered. It is a platform with good features. And the Prius adopted a new structure wiper called "Flat Blade Wiper" at first. But Toyota had a hard time dealing with noise. Then, Toyota returned the Prius wiper to the conventional structure wiper called "Design Blade Wiper", with a minor model change in November 2017.
