Toyota Land Speed Cruiser Sets SUV Speed Record - 230 mph at Mojave Air and Space Port
The 2016 SEMA show concept car set a world speed record - a top speed of 230.02 mph (370.18 km/h) at Mojave Air and Space Port. The custom-built 2,000-horsepower Land Cruiser (with a heavily modified 5.7-liter 3UR-FE V8 engine) was driven by NASCAR driver Carl Edwards.
