Ferrari 500 Superfast
Rare prototype footage of Ferrari 500 Superfast, curated from across the internet. Browse 1 clip below.
Prototype footage offers a glimpse of cars before they reach production — spy shots of camouflaged test mules on the Nurburgring, official manufacturer teasers, and behind-the-scenes clips from design studios and wind tunnels. These videos capture the development process that takes a car from sketch to showroom, and they're particularly fascinating when compared against the final production version. Some prototypes represent paths not taken — cancelled projects, rejected designs, and experimental technologies that were ahead of their time.
The Ferrari 500 Superfast is a flagship grand tourer manufactured by Ferrari between 1964 and 1966 with 37 built. It featured a 5-litre V12 producing 394 hp. Having previously been used as a title only for special projects, the 500 Superfast was the first production car with the title and the final version of the America-series of grand tourers.
